The Switchpoint wireless control provides short range remote access to industrial devices. The Switchpoint receiver mounts on your target device and is plugged into existing control lines.
The Switchpoint receiver was designed for extremely harsh environments. The receiver can be placed on the side of a truck frame, on a firewall or next to a hydraulic valve assembly in its enclosure. Its triple gasket sealed enclosure and watertight connector provides superior protection from road grime, oil and other fluids. The enclosure itself is made from thick, durable plastic that protects the device from breakage.
Switchpoint can activate multiple outputs (momentary or latched) with a single button press. This feature makes it ideal for hydraulic valve assemblies with multiple valve banks. Firing valve banks simultaneously with a single key press is easily managed.
The Switchpoint transmitter has several handheld options. A key fob controller can be used when a smaller number of functions are required. The industrial version comes standard with a basic keypad. For your specific industrial application a custom, branded keypad with up to 8 functions is available. If more than 8 functions are required, please contact us for a solution that fits your needs.
Switchpoint devices are meant for short "halo" operation immediately around the device. If greater range is required, other antenna options are available.
Typical range (with standard antennas) is approximately 50 feet line of sight. Range varies greatly based on antenna selection. Switchpoint with a custom antenna setup can reach up to 1000 feet.
