DewEze

DewEze manufactures flatbeds and hay handling equipment for farmers and ranchers. Their flatbed uses hydraulics to actuate arms which load large hay bales on the flatbed. A wired solution was available, but the coil of cable that needed to be managed was very cumbersome. The user was required to pull the length of cable behind them. If the user wanted to monitor the load, the cable was pulled across or around the load which left it open to pinch points. The user needed to be able to monitor the load without being "tethered".

DewEze looked for several "off the shelf solutions" but they found that the available wireless controllers were either lacking configurability or were not rugged enough for the environment they were putting their flatbeds into. When they did find a wireless control with the required attributes, the cost was too high for their market.

With Digitec's Switchpoint wireless control, DewEze solved the problem. They enhanced their product offering and did it cost effectively.

What started as an option to their existing product has nearly become standard issue due to its success.
